Originating in Japan, Reiki is an ancient and holistic form of energy healing. Reiki is life force energy. It is what flows through everything and everyone. The first law of thermodynamics states that energy can neither be created or destroyed, but only transformed. HOW LONG WILL MY SESSION BE?
Sessions last anywhere between 45 to 90 minutes in duration depending on what other modalities are included. Add on a 45 Minute Massage
WHAT SHOULD I BRING?
During a Reiki session, you are fully clothed and lying comfortably on a massage table. Stretchy or loose fitting clothing is suggested. Bring a water bottle as it is recommended to keep hydrated after energy healing sessions
WHAT HAPPENS DURING A REIKI SESSION?
During a session the practitioner will flow through a series of hand positions beginning at the crown of your head and moving down to the feet. Each session is customized for the clients individual needs, allowing enough time for each area receiving healing. The use of crystals, sound therapy, aromatherapy, and sacred herbs, may be incorporated based upon intuitive guidance. Clients are free to communicate throughout the session to ensure an optimum level of comfort. The benefits of Reiki will last anywhere from hours to days after each session depending on the individual
Most people typically leave a Reiki session feeling refreshed and energized. However, some people are tired due to the body and mind relaxing. This is often the body's natural response, as it begins to restore energetic balance after treatment. Be sure to hydrate and observe how Reiki feels for you.
HOW OFTEN SHOULD I RECEIVE TREATMENT?
Personal recommendations will vary based on the individual. Like massage, once a month is ideal for maintaining homeostasis within the body. A minimum of 4 sessions about every two to four weeks apart is recommended in the beginning.
